Yes!  I have completed Dave Ramsey's Financial Coach Master Training and am a Ramsey Preferred Financial Coach (click here to see my certificate).  I am also part of a Financial Coaches mastermind called Coach Connections.  Between these two resources, I have access to thousands of other coaches across the country to assist if your particular situation happens to be new to me.

Financial coaching essentially boils down to three things: helping you identify money goals in your life, develop a plan to help you achieve those goals, and to motivate you along the way.

Your financial coach is your teacher and your guide on your money journey. Your money coach is NOT a salesman. I don’t sell insurance, investments, real estate, or any products other than coaching. I have a network of trusted, licensed professionals that I can refer you to if you need their services, but I will never pressure you to buy anything or to work with my referral network. 

Neither will your financial coach directly handle any of your money. We will make recommendations of things we think you should do that would add value, but we do not act on your behalf. 

There’s no secret recipe for financial success. The formula is simple: spend less money than you earn and invest the difference wisely.  The execution isn't always easy, however.

Much like a fitness coach will work with you to design an effective workout program and will push you to run that extra mile or push through one more rep, a financial coach will work with you to design an efficient spent plan and will encourage you to stick with the plan to reach your financial goals. 

Do you make decent money, but can’t figure out why you’re bank account is empty at the end of every month? Does your credit card, mortgage, or student loan debt feel insurmountable? Do you worry about how you’re going to pay for your children’s college or save enough money to retire? These are all things that a financial coach can help you with. 

There’s a difference between being poor and being broke. Odds are, you’re broke, not poor. You must decide where your priorities lie. Are you willing to do without cable for a set period of time if it means jump starting your journey towards a stress-free relationship with money? Are you willing to cook at home instead of eat out a few times a week if it leads to being debt free in the foreseeable future?

I am confident that the value you will receive from financial coaching will far exceed the costs of coaching sessions! 

Yes, you can pay via a monthly subscription, though I do offer a discount for paying in advance.

I do not work for Dave Ramsey or Ramsey Solutions, but he has definitely influenced my own financial journey and I lean heavily on content from Total Money Makeover and Financial Peace University in my coaching practice.

Just come prepared to talk about your current financial situation and your goals.  I'll send you an assessment survey that takes 10-15 minutes to complete.  Other than that, no prep work required.

During your coaching sessions we will review your spend plan (both what you planned to spend and what you actually spent) and look for areas that we think you can save money. I will also address any financial questions you may have. I am committed to meeting you wherever you are financially and developing a plan for you to achieve your financial goals!  

Everything we discuss and any forms you provide or we generate will be completely confidential. Our full Confidentiality Policy can be found in our Coaching Agreement, which you will receive prior to your first coaching session.
